The Greenville Reflections & Youth Development Museum is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich history, culture, and legacy of Greenville, Mississippi, and the surrounding Delta region—while inspiring learning, pride, and opportunity across generations.

Founded on the vision of a retired educator with 38 years of service, the museum was created as a space where history comes alive and education extends beyond the classroom. Here, stories are not only told—they are experienced through artifacts, exhibits, interactive learning, and meaningful community engagement.

Our Mission

The Greenville Reflections Youth Development Museum is to promote and preserve the rich historical culture of Greenville and surrounding Delta region. The museum advances the understanding and exploration of Greenville history, culture, and architecture. The museum educates by collecting, preserving, and interpreting artifacts and oral histories, both historic and contemporary, that reflects the life of the city. The museum documents Greenville’s physical and cultural heritage, which has local, regional, and national significance. The museum collaborates with others organizations with similar interests, while maintaining permanent space suitable to the museum mission. Through this, the museum serves the people of the city of Greenville and surrounding areas and all who enjoy its history and culture.
